Project Assignment Location: Rodriguez Jr. Avenue, Ugong, Pasig City

Full onsite and Dayshift

Required Skills

· More than 5 years of experience in software testing

· Exposure to both manual and automation testing

· With exposure on mentoring/leading a team or Junior QA tester

Responsibilities: Automation Testing (60-70%) Manual/Functional Testing (30-40%)

Test Strategy, Planning & Quality Governance

· Define and maintain the test strategy, coverage approach, and quality gates per product/release

· Lead test planning for sprints/releases, including scope, effort estimates, environments, entry/exit criteria, and risks

· Establish and enforce consistent QA standards (DoR/DoD for testing, documentation, traceability, evidence, sign-off)

Test Design & Execution Leadership

· Lead the creation and review of test scenarios and test cases (functional, regression, integration, system, UAT support)

· Ensure requirements/user stories are testable, clear, and complete, raising gaps early

· Drive risk-based testing and prioritization aligned to business criticality (B/OSS flows, billing, provisioning, orders, etc.)

Defect, Triage & Release Readiness

· Own defect lifecycle governance: triage, severity calibration, root-cause themes, and closure discipline

· Partner with Engineering and Product on release readiness, providing quality gate recommendations and sign-offs

· Produce clear, timely reporting: test progress, pass rates, defect trends, and release risk assessments

Automation Leadership & Test Pipeline Enablement

· Lead automation direction: what to automate, framework choices, reliability standards, and coverage targets

· Build and maintain automated test suites for frontend and backend systems, and ensure integration into CI/CD

· Improve pipeline signal quality (reduce flaky tests, stabilize environments, optimize execution time)

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Execution

· Work closely with DevOps on environment readiness, test data strategy, and deployment validation

· Support product teams with acceptance criteria, UAT preparation, and production verification/monitoring readiness

· Promote a shift-left culture, embedding QA early in design and development discussions

Team Leadership, Coaching & Capability Building

· Mentor QA engineers through reviews, pairing, coaching sessions, and structured feedback

· Help onboard new QA team members, define roles/ownership, and improve team delivery cadence

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives (process, tools, templates, test data management, regression strategy)

Continuous Learning & Contribution

· Participate in daily/weekly cadences and represent QA status, risks, and dependencies

· Commit to regular upskilling and encourage team learning (knowledge sharing, brown bags, playbooks)

· Share QA best practices, testing techniques, and automation patterns with the wider engineering community

Pay: Php90,000.00 - Php110,000.00 per month
