Our portfolio of iconic brands powers enthusiasts and racers worldwide—from classic muscle and modern performance to off-road and powersports—combining a rich heritage of innovation with a passion for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Execution

  • Execute component, subsystem, system, and vehicle-level test plans as directed by Validation Engineers, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, repeatability, and overall test quality.
  • Set up, run, and tear down tests at the bench, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), and vehicle level.
  • Perform comprehensive ECU operation testing, including proper ignition timing and fueling event verification using an oscilloscope, as well as non-fuel/non-ignition related functional testing.
  • Test companion mobile applications and digital dash displays (including 5-inch dash units) for correct functionality and integration with ECU systems.
  • Diagnose electrical, software, and hardware issues encountered during validation testing.

Test Infrastructure & Vehicle Support

  • Design and build test stands and fixtures to support bench-level and component testing.
  • Install test components and instrumentation on test vehicles and support vehicle-level testing.
  • Configure and operate laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQs, environmental chambers, CAN analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment, fixtures, and validation infrastructure.

Data & Documentation

  • Collect, log, and organize test data, and flag anomalies or out-of-spec results to the responsible engineer.
  • Log and track test execution status and results in Jira, keeping test records current and traceable.
  • Support root cause investigations by reproducing failures and gathering supporting data as directed.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Support supplier validation activities as directed.
  • Collaborate effectively with Validation Engineers and cross-functional Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.

Safety

  • Follow established safety protocols when working with high-current electrical systems.
  • Follow safe handling procedures when working with fuel systems and fuel delivery components.
  • Observe safety precautions around rotating machinery and powertrain test equipment.
  • Follow dynamometer and vehicle lift safety procedures during bench and vehicle testing.

What You Bring:

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Automotive Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in automotive testing, bench work, or a related hands-on technical role.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and automotive test equipment, including oscilloscope-based ignition and fueling event verification.
  • Working knowledge of CAN communication and automotive diagnostic tools.
  • Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and following established test procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document test results.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, or similar automotive development/diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test bench operation.
  • Experience designing and building test stands, fixtures, or vehicle instrumentation setups.
  • Familiarity with automotive test standards such as ISO 16750, ISO 7637, ISO 11452, CISPR 25, IP67/IP69K.
  • Experience with engine management systems, embedded electronics, or automotive performance products.
  • Experience operating engine dynamometers, chassis dynamometers, or powertrain test cells.
  • Experience with wiring harness fabrication, crimping/connector assembly, soldering, and basic machining or fabrication.
  • Familiarity with Holley EFI software, Terminator X, HP EFI, VCM Suite, or similar calibration/tuning tools.
