Salary Pay Range – top and bottom range and Other Compensation:

The salary range for this position is expected to be between $70,000.00 – $106,000.00 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

About the Role:

Step into a high-visibility, hands-on role with a premier aerospace manufacturer in Buena Park. As the Senior Test Technician, you will lead complex functional and structural testing on mission-critical components that fly in aerospace and defense applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute complex functional, mechanical, and structural tests on precision aerospace die castings and avionics.
• Set up, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced test equipment and precision measurement instruments.
• Analyze test data, compile detailed reports, and partner with Engineering to resolve non-conformances quickly.
• Identify bottleneck areas and recommend SOP updates to continuously optimize test room throughput and accuracy.
• Maintain rigorous ITAR, AS9100, and ISO 9001 compliant documentation and testing maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on military/technical trade training.
• 3 to 5 years of direct testing and precision measurement experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
• Proven expertise troubleshooting mechanical test failures, precision gauges, and test bench setups.
• Deep familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR, and standard quality documentation protocols.
• Independent problem-solver with strong data entry, reporting, and cross-functional communication skills.
