Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer who have experience in Capital Market / Investment Banking Domain and is passionate about quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensure high-quality releases, drive UAT, and contribute to strengthening QA practices within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Developers, Testers, and Business Owners to resolve issues and clarify requirements.

• Understand detailed system functionality and testability for assigned modules/products.

• Continuously analyse and improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Review test scenarios, support functional delivery, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Ensure production releases meet business and client expectations around usability and functionality.

• Implement the QA vision and quality strategy within the team.

• Participate actively in grooming, planning, and retrospective meetings to enforce QA best practices.

• Plan and execute quality assurance activities to ensure timely milestone delivery.

• Maintain, update, and hand over regression test suites to the RTE team.

• Continuously learn the product, platform, and domain.

• Work with business teams to understand and validate requirements, user stories, and processes.

• Track issues, manage cross-team tasks, and ensure high-quality delivery of all features.

• Ensure test coverage, traceability, and accurate reporting of test status.

• Diagnose and support quick resolution of live production incidents.

  Your Profile

• Strong experience of Capital Market/Investment Banking Domain testing.

• Hands on experience in SQL Queries.

• Good knowledge of Trade Life Cycle.

• Strong experience in functional, regression testing and UAT.

• Experience range required as a functional tester 10 to 12 Yrs

• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into test scenarios.

• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Ability to diagnose production issues quickly.

  Good to Have

• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of TFS.
