About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of professional experience and a strong understanding of creating engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, and EdTech platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Add transitions, text, subtitles, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
• Maintain strong storytelling, pacing, visual flow, and audience engagement.
• Repurpose long-form content into engaging Reels and Shorts.
• Collaborate with the content and creative teams to understand video requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos as per project timelines.
• Keep up with current social media trends, editing styles, and content formats.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Candidates with prior EdTech industry experience will be preferred.
• Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, or Shorts is preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing tools.
• Good understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and visual sense.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio/Showreel is required.
