What they need

Sr. Workforce Analytics Analyst - Remote

Metric Systems LLC is a direct‑hire employer partner dedicated to helping companies connect with the right talent for their open roles. We are not a staffing agency—instead, we work alongside employers to identify strong candidates, streamline the hiring process, and support both sides through each step. Once hired, you become an employee of the client organization directly, ensuring a seamless transition into your new role and long‑term career alignment.

My client is seeking a Senior Analyst, Workforce Analytics to transform complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights for leadership. This role is highly consultative and hands‑on, partnering with HR, Finance, Technology, and business leaders to understand the real problem behind each request, analyze data, and recommend meaningful solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in ambiguity, can independently drive undefined issues to resolution, and excels at translating data into compelling stories that guide executive decision‑making.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR, Finance, Technology, and business leaders to understand workforce challenges and translate them into data and reporting needs.
  • Lead complex workforce analyses using statistical models and advanced analytics to assess key HR metrics, forecast trends, and support strategic decision making.
  • Own workforce reporting and analytics solutions end-to-end – from consultation and scoping through the requirement definition, build, validation, and delivery.
  • Transform data findings into clear, compelling narratives that drive strategic decision making.
  • Ensure data integrity by leading quality efforts, verifying analysis, and maintaining high standard of precision
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data systems and reporting capabilities, working closely with Technology and other stakeholders
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to analysts.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in workforce analytics and data science.
  • Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
  • Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences. Models Memorial Hermann’s service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, quantitative, or business-focused fields (Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related).
  • Experience in workforce / people analytics strongly preferred; familiarity with HR/HCM data structures required.
  • 2+ years with hands-on experience with HCM report and dashboard design and development; Oracle HCM experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Strong ability to apply statistical models, forecasting techniques, and workforce analytics methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling stills, with proven ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in project management, stakeholder management, critical thinking and problem solving.
