Job Overview

Mecgale Pneumatics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to manage and execute civil construction activities at its Koradi, Nagpur location. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, planning, coordination, quality control, drawing interpretation, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective completion of civil works, including industrial, residential, and commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute civil construction works, including industrial buildings, residential and commercial buildings, RCC structures, foundations, roads, drainage systems, and other infrastructure works.
• Read, interpret, and execute work as per structural drawings, architectural drawings, RCC drawings, and construction specifications.
• Prepare, review, and verify BOQs (Bill of Quantities), BOM (Bill of Materials), estimates, and rate analysis for civil construction activities.
• Prepare and check BBS (Bar Bending Schedule), reinforcement details, concrete quantities, and steel consumption.
• Monitor construction activities involving RCC works, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.
• Ensure proper execution of concrete works as per approved design mix, concrete grades, and applicable quality standards.
• Handle civil site planning, work scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring to achieve project milestones.
• Understand and verify site levels, curves, contour curves, layout markings, and survey measurements for accurate execution of civil works.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
• Monitor material consumption, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and material requirements as per the BOM and project specifications.
• Ensure proper utilization of fly ash and other approved construction materials wherever applicable, in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Supervise the construction and maintenance of STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) and WTP (Water Treatment Plant) civil structures and associated infrastructure, wherever applicable.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, relevant standards, and company quality procedures.
• Verify site measurements, prepare measurement sheets, and check and certify contractor bills based on actual work executed.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues related to construction, drawings, levels, materials, and execution methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with site safety norms, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain daily progress reports, site registers, inspection records, material records, measurement books, and other project documentation.
• Track project costs, identify deviations, and implement corrective measures to ensure completion within the approved budget and timeline.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant experience in civil construction, industrial projects, or infrastructure development.
• Strong knowledge of RCC, BBS, BOQ, BOM, rate analysis, estimation, and quantity surveying.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings.
• Practical knowledge of design mix, concrete quality control, reinforcement detailing, and construction materials, including fly ash.
• Knowledge of site planning, surveying, levels, curves, contour curves, and layout setting.
• Familiarity with residential, commercial, and industrial building construction.
• Knowledge of STP, WTP, drainage, roadwork, and associated civil infrastructure.
• Strong contractor management, coordination, problem-solving, and site supervision skills.
• Ability to manage manpower, materials, project schedules, quality, safety, and cost control.
• Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate: An experienced, result-oriented Civil Engineer with strong site execution, technical drawing interpretation, planning, quality control, and project management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
