SRE - Architect

We seek a highly skilled & experienced SRE Architect to drive the reliability, scalability, and performance of our multi-cloud infrastructure spanning AWS and Azure. He/She will lead a team responsible for building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability systems using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Datadog.

As the SRE Leader, individual will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure our services are highly available, secure, and performant, while fostering a culture of automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

We expect the individual to carry industry experience covering responsibilities and skills as listed below:

• Solution & Design: Architecting scalable, resilient systems. Defining blueprints for reliability, security, and cost-efficiency on cloud platforms.
• Observability: Building and implementing robust monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions.
• Automation & Toil Reduction: Designing solutions to automate operational tasks and improve system design, reducing manual effort.
• Incident Management: Leading incident response strategies and post-mortems to prevent recurrence.
• Testing: Implementing chaos engineering and testing to build fault-tolerant systems
• Frameworks & Standards: Defining SRE best practices, SLO/SLI frameworks, and operational readiness standards for the entire engineering org.
• Strong coding/scripting skills (Python, Go, shell/bash etc) for automation.
• IAC: Terraform
• CICD : Git Action, Git workflow and ArgoCD
• Observability: Datadog, Prometheus and Fluent bit
• POD Orchestration: EKS and EKS Faregate
• Deep expertise on at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, and containerization (Docker/ Kubernetes)
• Understanding of security, capacity planning, and disaster recovery

Preferred

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
• Experience with Kubernetes - service mesh technologies.
• Familiarity with chaos engineering and resilience testing.

Cross-Team Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Drive alignment across multiple customer teams and partner organizations, ensuring a unified technical direction.
• Facilitate technical discussions, resolve conflicts, and negotiate architecture decisions among diverse stakeholders.
• Communicate architectural strategies and design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
