Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SRE/DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), cloud infrastructure, automation, and site reliability engineering practices. The candidate will be responsible for managing scalable cloud-native platforms, ensuring application reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using industry-standard monitoring tools.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting activities.
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and deployment practices.
• Implement security best practices across cloud and container platforms.
• Build and maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Kubernetes administration.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and scripting (Shell/Python).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.
• Knowledge of networking, load balancing, ingress controllers, and service mesh concepts.
• Experience with incident management, SLI/SLO, and reliability engineering practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Anthos or multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of security and compliance in cloud-native environments.
• GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer Certification is an added advantage.
• Exposure to automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
