SRE Engineer - DevOps Manager (Manila and Cebu)

Key of Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps, with at least 2+ years in a leadership, team lead, or people management role.
• Strong technical foundation in Linux, Kubernetes, Public Cloud platforms, Observability/Monitoring tools, and Incident Management processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to coach and develop engineers, with demonstrated success in advancing team members' careers and technical capabilities.
• Experience managing performance, providing feedback, and handling challenging behavioral or performance-related conversations professionally.
• Willingness and flexibility to participate in rotating shift schedules, including night shifts, alongside the team.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills with a focus on team growth, engagement, and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly 1-on-1 meetings, performance reviews, and employee development planning.
• Manage attendance, workplace behavior, collaboration, and knowledge handovers.
• Monitor team well-being, fatigue, and shift-health indicators to reduce attrition risks.
• Maintain capability records and create training plans aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Oversee shift schedules, leave approvals, resource allocation, and overtime management.
• Lead onboarding for new hires and Academy graduates, including tools, processes, and team integration.
• Support recruitment, mentoring, succession planning, and employee career progression initiatives.
