Senior Manager - Associate Director: Digital Learning Platform

We are seeking an experienced Technology leader to lead the end‑to‑end technology direction of a national‑scale digital learning platform. This role blends strategic product leadership, hands‑on technical expertise, and a passion for developing people and impactful learning technology.

Role Summary

Approximate skill focus:

Technical Leadership – 50% (Web App + Mobile App with Golang + React + PostgreSQL)

Team & Project Management – 30% (cross-functional product development teams)

Academic & Enablement – 20% (training system design, internal coaching, or classroom teaching)

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Technology Direction

• Shape and execute product and platform strategy for large‑scale digital learning solutions.
• Design scalable, secure architecture using Golang (backend), React (frontend), PostgreSQL database, and Flutter/Native iOS for mobile.
• Champion modern engineering practices — CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment, and agile DevOps culture.
• Drive AI‑first, data‑driven approaches for personalization and learner analytics.

2. Leadership & Delivery Management

• Lead a cross-functional team of ~30 members, including Developers, QA, UX/UI, SA, and Product Owners.

• Optimize agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), improving metrics such as Lead Time, Cycle Time, and Deployment Frequency.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Academic teams to ensure alignment between pedagogy, user experience, and technology outcomes.

• Manage project roadmaps, prioritization, and stakeholder expectations at the executive level.

3. Coaching, Learning, and Academic Integration

• Mentor and upskill tech team members through training sessions, code reviews, and internal workshops.
• (Preferred) Experience as a Product Owner in digital product development or EdTech.
• (Plus) Passion for teaching, experience designing a training platform, or conducting instructor‑led training.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in technology or product development, with 7+ years leading multi‑disciplinary tech teams.
• Hands‑on expertise in Golang, React, and PostgreSQL.
• Proven record in delivering high‑traffic, scalable digital products (web + mobile).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and system scalability.
• Experience integrating AI or data‑driven analytics into products is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with EdTech, LMS, or digital learning environments preferred.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Self‑motivated leader who values innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
