Sr.Network Engineer L2

• We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to develop and maintain functional and secure networks
• You will be part of a NOC Team that is responsible for Network Support, maintenances, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs
• In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network and Helpdesk architecture
• Sr Network Support Engineer responsibilities include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems, and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support

Responsibilities :

• Configure and install various network devices and services (eg, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, IPSec,QoS, Load balancing)
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Monitor system Network resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company s security team
• Liaise with vendors for last-mile media restoration and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Works helpdesk ticketing system to ensure SLAs and business objectives
• Hands-on experience deep knowledge of routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, Security wireless in the enterprise environment.
• Good troubleshooting skills and identifying/locating the area of the problem.
• Detailed knowledge of the OSI model and switching technologies (STP, VLAN, IPSLA,HSRP, VRRP etc)
• Routing and switching technologies and corresponding protocols
• Demonstrates a specialist understanding of a network security concept, experience on firewall added advantages.
• Knowledge of Network Monitoring Tools added advantages.
• Experience in DHCP and IP address Management.
• Basic knowledge on SDWAN will be added advantages

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience deep knowledge of routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, Security wireless in the enterprise environment.
• Good troubleshooting skills and identifying/locating the area of the problem.
• Detailed knowledge of the OSI model and switching technologies (STP, VLAN)
• Routing and switching technologies and corresponding protocols

• Technical educational background - Graduation
• Proven working experience as a network engineer.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Qualifications: Graduates/ Postgraduates from IT background preferred
• Experience: 3+ Years
• Certification: must have CCNA certified.SDWAN certification is optional added advantages
