Sr.Production Supervisor - Badlapur

Role & responsibilities

To monitor and record day-to-day plant and production operations, ensure equipment and utilities function safely and efficiently, maintain statutory and housekeeping records, and support manpower and material coordination on the shop floor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Plant Monitoring & Operations

Troubleshoot plant breakdowns and conduct breakdown maintenance

Monitor day-to-day plant status and production activity across shifts

Review dryer readings and boiler readings at prescribed intervals

Monitor solar power generation and capacitor bank readings

Monitor cooling tower and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) readings

Oversee plant floor activity including loading and unloading of material

Manpower & Activity Management

Maintain daily manpower allocation and activity logs

Coordinate manpower deployment across production shifts

Issue and track work permits for maintenance and contractor activity on the floor

Housekeeping & Equipment Records

Maintain plant housekeeping records

Maintain equipment cleaning records and schedules

Ensure equipment upkeep logs are updated in line with maintenance schedule

Production Documentation

Prepare batch sheet for commercial production

Audit & Compliance Support

Draft documents related to ISO and regular customer audits

Sit through plant audits and coordinate with concerned departments as required

Customer Complaint Handling

Attend to customer complaints and coordinate resolution with concerned departments

Coordination

Coordinate with Stores for timely raw material and packing material availability against production schedule

Coordinate with QC for in-process and finished goods clearance

Escalate plant/equipment issues to Production Director promp

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate Should be from relevant chemicaal background. or has knowledge of handling the Plant Production.
