Sr/Staff Flight Software Engineer

I'm partnered with a well-funded aerospace startup developing next-generation autonomous aircraft for commercial and defense applications.

They're looking for an Sr/Staff Flight Software Engineer to take ownership of the aircraft's core embedded flight software architecture from the ground up.

You're perfect if you have:

• 8+ years developing aircraft/UAV flight software, with strong modern C++ and real-time embedded systems expertise
• Experience owning end-to-end flight software architecture and safety-critical systems
• Deep knowledge of fault tolerance, redundancy, failover and degraded operating modes
• Experience integrating GNC, flight controls, avionics and aircraft hardware
• Hands-on SIL/HIL testing, simulation and flight validation
• Ability to drive major technical decisions while remaining hands-on
