• Own transaction processing - general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable - reconciliations and the posting cycle, to agreed service levels and controls.
• Own fixed-asset and inventory accounting across the group's entities.
• Deliver the mechanics of the month-end close - clean, complete trial balances - on time for the business and consolidation.
• Provide operational audit evidence and support on time. Build and improve
• Build, scale and mature the shared service center team.
• Drive standardisation, standard operating procedures and automation so processing is consistent and can be handed off reliably.
• Lead the migration of processes into the shared service center, sequenced so capability is built before work is moved. Lead the team and service
• Build and develop a large team; maintain cross-training and resilience; run service reviews and manage service levels with internal stakeholders.
• Operate the finance control framework in processing, including segregation of duties and approval thresholds. What you'll bring
• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or local equivalent) with at least 12 years of finance experience, including senior experience leading finance operations or a shared service center.
• Proven track record building and/or running a finance shared service center and multi-entity transaction processing to service levels, in a complex international group.
• Strong in process design, standardisation, automation and financial controls.
• A capable people leader able to build, scale and develop a large team.
• Disciplined on close deadlines and service delivery.
• Fluent English and Mandarin. Desirable
• Experience migrating or transitioning finance processes into a shared service center.
• SAP and finance automation / RPA experience.
