SSME CT (Lead) Research Engineer/Scientist

• CT Clinical Application pre-development and prototyping
• Technical topics with selected prototypes for clinical collaborations
• Support CT related clinical data collection and management in China
• Support algorithm validation and integration in SSME as direct interface between global CTC IA and SSME SW teams
• Algorithm pre-developments with Image Analytics related collaboration/innovation projects
• Triggering pre-development projects to have the needed technology available for use within product development

Areas Of Responsibilities A Research Scientist could have responsibilities as selected areas according to the detailed collaboration/pre-development/development projects and technical fields in long term development, which includes:

• Develop/maintain/improve CT clinical application prototypes based on internal pre-development topics, customer needs and collaboration projects;
• Technical topics handling by working together with Clinical Collaboration team as technical expertise owner for selected prototype;
• Analyze Chinese-specified customer requirements, define suitable application and realize prototype development, by close work with collaboration managers;
• Work with clinical partners to realize further improvements or realize technical solution for new application needs of the post-application prototypes;
• New algorithm pre-development according to clinical needs or needs for post application functions;
• Develop and maintain CT image analytics algorithm validation framework/platform;
• Work as direct counter part of global R&D CTC IA team to support IA feature integration, validation and approval tasks in SSME CT;
• Explore CT related clinical data collection concepts and realizations based on internal pre-dev and development needs, enable effective data collection with technical/platform support;
• Create/Assess novel concepts & ideas related with image analytics;
• Initiate/perform scientific and clinical collaboration/pre-development and create intellectual properties;
• Technical/scientific communication as internal/external representation of Healthineers product and technologies;
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements：

Strong expertise in Application Prototyping or Image Analytics for 3-5 years as:

• Experienced research engineer with strong C++, Python Analysis/Design skills
• Knowledgeable research engineer with Image Processing, Pattern Recognition or Image 3D Rendering especially with new learning based approaches
• Technical leader or owner of algorithm/prototype for at least 1 applications
• Full responsible for certain application protype or image analytics technical fields (e.g. Deep Learning)
• Important contributors to technology developments for technology roadmap in SSME CT or/and globally

Very well accepted/recognized expert in current working organization

• Known as one of the most experienced research engineers in dedicated application prototypes or image analytics algorithm topics
• Well known contributions which implemented for several prototype or products function
• Provide important contribution for global technical co-operations

Known Expert On Image Analytics Or Application Prototyping For

• Partly known in internal/external expert circles
• High value in resolving customer issues
• Be able to represent BU in external events or internal congress/specialist meeting

Strong expertise and contributions to empower innovation

• CT application prototype design or image analytics algorithm related inventions
• At least master’s degree or above in below technical fields or related disciplines:
• Computer science
• Medical Image analysis/Image Processing/Signal Processing
• Computer/Biomedical Engineering
