SSME MI Software Engineer

Position Headline Design, develop, verify and maintain software solutions for medical imaging systems, with focus on HMI applications, platform-related software components and cross-platform integration. Apply AI-assisted software engineering approaches to improve development efficiency and quality while maintaining full responsibility for software correctness, validation, safety, and compliance.

Areas Of Responsibilities Software Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions for medical imaging systems across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Implement high-quality software using technologies including C#, C++, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Participate in software architecture design, technical discussions, and system integration activities.

Application & Interface Development

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular and modern web technologies.
• Design and implement backend components, APIs, and software interfaces to support system integration and application functionality.
• Contribute to interface development between software modules, subsystems, and external components.

AI-Augmented Engineering

• Utilize AI and Large Language Model tools to improve software development efficiency, including coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and automation.
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure correctness, maintainability, and compliance with quality standards.

Software Quality & Testing

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design reviews.
• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated validation solutions.

Collaboration & Problem Solving

• Work closely with system engineers, product owners, architects, and global development teams in an agile environment.
• Troubleshoot software defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive effective solutions.
• Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and engineering best practices.

Dimension Of Function/Volume Develop and maintain assigned software components to support product functionality, quality and project delivery.

Education and Experience

Experience

• Typically 1-5 years of experience in software development or related engineering fields.
• Hands-on experience in software development using .NET, C# and C++.
• Experience with modern web technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience working in Windows and Linux development environments.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle activities, including design, implementation, testing, debugging, and maintenance.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools is highly desirable.
• Experience in computer vision, image processing, or medical imaging software is considered an advantage.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines.
