Job Description

The Vatsalya School is seeking passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic English & Social Studies (SST) Teachers to teach students from Grades 6 to 8. We are looking for educators who can make learning engaging, interactive, and easy to understand while helping students develop strong language skills, improve communication, and build a clear understanding of social sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English and Social Studies (SST) to students in Grades 6–8.
• Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centred lessons.
• Strengthen students’ English grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Teach History, Geography, Civics, and other relevant SST topics.
• Prepare students for school examinations and reinforce fundamental concepts.
• Conduct regular assessments, revision sessions, and doubt-solving activities.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and supportive classroom environment.
• Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and effective communication.
• Coordinate with the academic team to support students’ overall academic development.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in English, Arts, Social Sciences, or a related field; B.Ed. is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Grades 6–8 curriculum.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and engage students effectively.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
• Freshers with good subject knowledge and a genuine interest in teaching are welcome to apply.
