Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job type: Hybrid / Permanent

Duties And Responsibilities

• Generate leads through various channels including networking, industry events, online marketing, and referrals. Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
• Be the driving force behind our client acquisition and revenue growth strategies.
• Leverage deep expertise in financial markets to develop trust-based relationships with clients.
• Work towards achieving sales targets, ensuring revenue growth and customer acquisition goals are met.
• Showcase our capabilities at regional seminars and exhibitions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, benefits, and promotions to effectively educate clients and answer questions.
• Achieving sales targets by promoting and introducing products, handling customer inquiries, and processing transactions accurately.

Skills And Abilities

• Established network of Introducing Broker (IB) relationships (a distinct advantage)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong sales service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Profound understanding of sales, trading, stock indices, equities, and CFDs

Requirements

• Diploma or associate diploma in business admin, finance, accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in related industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English and a business proficient secondary language (e.g. Mandarin, Malay, Japanese)
• Strong self-motivation, relationship-building skills, and a relentless drive to succeed
