As a STACKIT Engineering Manager, you are a technical leader who combines profound technical expertise directly with personnel responsibility.

You lead an engineering team and ensure its success by fostering the individual strengths of your employees.

At the same time, you contribute significantly to the technical direction, making our complex systems reliable and scalable.

Y our team focuses on developing key components of the STACKIT Core Platform, specifically building a centralized asset management solution . It serves as a fully managed, metadata database that maintains a comprehensive historical ledger of all deployed STACKIT resources. Helping our customers to easily query and browse their resources.

The Impact You Will Create

• You foster the individual strengths of your employees and actively support them in achieving their career goals.
• You are responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of our cloud services and are significantly involved in the creation and validation of system designs and the operational running of the services.
• You are responsible for the technical vision of the product and contribute significantly to the roadmap.
• You contribute technically to the team's success, provide technical assistance, and actively work on technical tasks when necessary.
• You perform code reviews, thereby ensuring that the code meets our requirements regarding scalability, maintainability, and correctness.

Experience And Skills You Will Need

• You have already gained more than 5 years of experience in the development and implementation of software products.
• You possess profound technical knowledge and expertise in the development and operation of highly available, distributed systems.
• You have experience with technologies such as Go, containerization (Docker and Kubernetes), interface technologies (such as gRPC and REST), and a Public Cloud Platform.
• You communicate confidently in English.
