This isn’t just a transactional role; it is a full-charge accounting position where you’ll own core financial functions—from vendor payables and fixed assets to inventory accounting and prepaid expenses. You will also play a key hands-on role in multi-state sales tax compliance, month-end closing and our annual financial audits. You’ll collaborate across departments, help refine our processes, and ensure that every dollar is accounted for with precision and purpose.

You Have

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and prior experience in accounting in a professional setting.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to dive into detailed data and resolve complex issues.

• Tech Proficiency: Solid proficiency in accounting software/ERPs and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Spend Management: Own the end-to-end vendor bill pay process, monthly employee credit card expense reporting, and 1099/W-9 vendor compliance.
• Asset & Revenue Accounting: Manage key financial accounting requirements such as fixed assets and depreciation, support monthly inventory variance analysis with Operations Team, and handle GAAP pledge and unearned revenue accounting entries.
• Financial Reconciliations & Compliance: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, manage multi-state sales tax reporting, and assist with month-end closing entries.
• Projects & Cross-Functional Support: Prepare supporting workpapers for external auditors; collaborate on special financial analysis projects, process improvement and other mission-critical initiatives with the Controller and team members.

Location

This position is located in the Greater Cincinnati Area. Applicants who are not local must be willing to relocate—which is why we offer relocation assistance!
