Staff Accountant

Job Summary

This role supports the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions across our HOA, homeowner and paying guest client base. General accounting tasks, including budget tracking and billing reconciliations, will be a focus. This role also provides day-to-day administrative support to ensure the office and operations run efficiently, accurately, and professionally.

An ideal candidate will have a confident, respectful confident demeanor when communicating with owners, guests & colleagues; a strong aptitude for using computers and software systems; and the desire to proactively seek information to support the decision making process.

Job Responsibilities

• General accounting duties including accounts payable, organization of financial records, and support of month end financial reporting.
• Coordinate purchase transactions and reconcile expenses with client billing.
• Answer client and vendor questions related to billing.
• Support the procurement and inventory process for operational departments.
• Assist with budget development and budget tracking.
• General administrative duties including office organization, operating standard office equipment, and occasional commute for business-related errands.

Job Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Bachelor degree in related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Computer and software aptitude. Proficiency in MS office and learning new software applications.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for company auto insurance policy.
• Able to pass background check.
• Prolonged walking and standing. Able to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to carry 25Lbs.
• Majority of work is inside a temperature controlled environment, but includes work outdoor in all seasons.
• Weekends, holidays and on-call shifts as necessary.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
