Staff Accountant

Rogers & Associates CPAs, P.C. a north Georgia/Forsyth County firm is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in Cumming, GA. The primary responsibilities include:

· Preparation of individual and business tax returns

· Manage business client accounting functions

· Small business advisory services

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· Applicants working toward their CPA designation are preferred

· Minimum of 1-year public experience

· Excellent command of English with absolute clarity

· Confident, strong interpersonal & problem-solving skills

· High degree of drive to succeed professionally and ability to work independently in a team environment

· Exceptional communication skills, well developed listening skills and ability to interpret business and/or client needs

· Proficient in: Excel, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, UltraTax CS or comparable enterprise-grade tax software for individuals, business, estates/trusts, non-profits.

· Business client accounting to include bookkeeping, writeup, and preparation of financial statements

· Strong working knowledge of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet) and financial accounting along with direct client contact responsibility

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deal comfortably with multiple clients

Our twelve-person firm has enjoyed steady growth over the past 25 years with some 900 individual and business clients with multi-state compliance. We offer Accounting, Tax, Small Business Advisory, and Litigation Support services to individuals, businesses, trustees, executors and the legal profession.
