TempExperts is partnering with a well-established international organization to add an experienced Staff Accountant to its Miami accounting team. You'll work closely with accounting leadership and operations, and get hands-on exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, general ledger work and project accounting.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and maintaining accounting records, schedules and reconciliations
• Reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts
• Recording journal entries, accruals and expense allocations to keep the general ledger accurate
• Helping with roll-forward schedules for fixed assets, leases, prepaids and accruals
• Supporting calculations for leases, rents, royalties, allowances and recurring agreements
• Partnering with Operations during month-end close
• Helping with monthly, quarterly and year-end close
• Preparing financial analyses and ad hoc reports for management
• Providing documentation and support for internal and external audits
• Monitoring project activity, investigating variances and helping with project billing and collections
• Finding ways to make accounting processes faster and more accurate

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• A strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems; SAP experience preferred
• Solid financial reporting and reconciliation skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail
• The ability to juggle priorities and hit deadlines
• Strong communication skills and comfort working across departments
