Staff Accountant

We are seeking an Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This position will support the Controller and accounting department with day-to-day administrative tasks including data entry, customer support, and accounts payable/accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have experience in AP/AR, data reconciliation, and strong administrative and computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Utilize accounting software to post transactions, manage financial data, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies in financial records or inventory data.
• Reconcile and update inventory records to ensure consistency with financial documentation.
• Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets for data tracking.
• Assist with software upgrade and transition.
• As a small company, additional duties may be assigned to ensure the business is operating efficiently.

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting support.
• Strong computer skills, specifically with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
