Staff Accountant

Job Purpose

Records, reviews and analyzes the day to day transactions of Deposit Accounting Unit, and maintains internal financial control in accordance with established Bank policies and within the required turnaround times.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The day to day transactions include but not limited to the following:

• Outward/Inward Clearing reconciliation
• Cash in Vault (CIV) reconciliation
• Withholding tax reconciliation/adjustment – related Time Deposits and Remittance
• FX Trading
• Domestic Bills Purchased reconciliation
• Handling of contingent and checkbook re-order
• In Process IM/ST reconciliation
• Reconciliation of other Temporary Accounts
• Reconciliation of deposit liabilities including dormant accounts
• Review of miscellaneous transactions/miscellaneous reimbursements
• Processing of BPS Revolving ,Reimbursement and Cash Advance transactions
• Monitoring and immediate disposition of Temporary Accounts/ Accounts Receivable (AR)/Accounts Payable (AP)
• Other functions that may be assigned by his/her superior

Job Qualifications

• At least four (4) years in Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
