Raw Resources Group is continuing to expand its operations throughout the region and the US, and is offering an amazing opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant in the Princeton, WV area.

Certification is not required, but knowledge of GAAP and a proven track record of reliability are. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate should at least have a bachelor’s degree in Business, with concentration in Accounting/Accountancy. Candidates with an associate degree and practical experience may also be considered.

The duties and responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:

• General accounting support tasks (payroll, tax, reporting).

• Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.

• Posting journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue

• Acting as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies

• Updating and maintain ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).

• Compiling data and prepare a variety of reports.

• Reconciling records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.

• Recommending actions to resolve discrepancies.

• Investigating questionable data.

The successful candidate will also be highly proficient in Microsoft applications (especially Excel).

Organizational, verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Must be detail oriented and can multi-task.
