Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will be a key member of the finance team, supporting multiple locations by preparing, posting, and reviewing journal entries. This position will help ensure accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform account reconciliations, variance analysis, and routine financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing and financial statement preparation.
• Investigate account discrepancies and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Support GAAP compliance, internal controls, and required financial reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and cost-control initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, financial systems, and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an associate degree with relevant experience.
• Three to five years of accounting or finance experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Pay: $33.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
