Accountant – Remote / Hybrid | 13-Week Contract

Pay Rate: $75.00 – $80.00/hour
Contract: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MDT
Work Arrangement: Remote or Hybrid, subject to supervisor approval and successful training/trial period

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support financial operations for a healthcare organization in Tuba City, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals and at least 3 years of hands-on Workday experience in a healthcare business or accounting environment.

The Accountant will work under limited supervision and be responsible for general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting support, and payroll-related functions. This position will also support senior leaders and directors with sound financial management and resource planning.

Required Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:

• Accounting
• Business Administration
• Finance
• Healthcare Administration
• Related business field

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience using Workday in a healthcare business/accounting setting.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
• Experience with journal entries and financial statement closing activities.
• Knowledge of GAAP and applicable accounting regulations.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Payroll processing/support experience is preferred.

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
