Staff Accounting

About the role

This role involves core accounting and bookkeeping functions, including journal entries, account numbering, transaction data input, and preparation of accounting worksheets. You will support the preparation of routine financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and production reports as required by management. The role encompasses accounting functions including recording, monitoring, and control activities, performed under supervisor direction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic bookkeeping and accounting (journals, account numbering, transaction data input)
• Create and maintain accounting worksheets
• Perform administrative tasks including document filing, receiving and processing correspondence related to accounting, finance, policy and procedures divisions
• Assist in preparation of routine reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, production reports and other management-required reports
• Monitor and ensure accounting transactions are recorded correctly according to accounting standards
• Prepare tax documents and related administration
• Perform bank reconciliation and financial report reconciliation
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors
• Handle payment submissions through BCA Token Maker
