Staff Algorithm Engineer - Emerging Sensing Technologies

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Algorithm Engineer - Emerging Sensing Technologies to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $135,100 – $225,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead modeling and simulation for emerging sensing technologies
• Develop machine-learning models to understand sensing phenomena
• Design experiments to evaluate technology feasibility
• Collaborate with teams to identify technical opportunities
• Create predictive models to guide investments and strategies
• Apply advanced analytics to uncover patterns in data
• Explore novel measurement methodologies across biological domains

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant technical field or MS with significant industry experience
• Strong foundation in mathematical modeling and simulation
• Proficient in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
• Experience developing predictive models of complex systems
• Ability to independently define and analyze technical problems
• Strong scientific curiosity and willingness to explore new domains
• Experience with research or technology incubation
