Staff Application Engineer, Salesforce

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Application Engineer, Salesforce to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will own the architecture and ongoing development of a critical Salesforce environment that supports enterprise product lines and multiple business units. The position is focused on building scalable processes, data structures, and integrations that strengthen sales operations, quoting, contracting, and service delivery. You will partner closely with finance, systems, and business stakeholders to improve governance, security, and operational reliability across the platform.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $137,000 – $183,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of the Salesforce platform across enterprise product lines
• Define scalable data models and sales processes supporting multiple business units
• Build and maintain Salesforce capabilities including Flow, reports, and dashboards
• Design lead-to-cash processes including quoting, contracting, and service delivery workflows
• Implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms such as NetSuite and BigQuery
• Establish governance practices for environments, source control, and deployment
• Develop and maintain security models in alignment with regulations and company standards

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Salesforce engineering, administration, or architecture
• Proven experience implementing and managing complex Salesforce environments
• Advanced skills with Salesforce declarative features such as Flow and approval processes
• Hands-on proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
• Expert in designing Salesforce data and security models across multiple business lines
• Deep understanding of lead-to-cash processes and integrations with finance systems
• Experience building AI assistants or integrations that leverage Salesforce data
