Overview

Are you curious, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in public accounting? Whether you're graduating soon or have a year or two of experience and are ready for a new opportunity, we'd love to meet you.

As a Staff Auditor, you'll work alongside experienced professionals serving clients across a variety of industries, including Healthcare, Not-for-Profit, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Construction, Higher Education, and more. You'll gain hands-on experience, build meaningful client relationships, and develop the technical and professional skills needed for long-term success in audit and assurance.

From day one, you'll be supported by a team that is invested in your growth. Through coaching, mentoring, structured training, and real-world client experience, you'll strengthen your analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills while building a strong foundation in public accounting.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning, asking questions, collaborating with others, and tackling new challenges. As your experience grows, you'll take on increasing responsibility, greater client interaction, more complex engagements, and opportunities to develop specialized expertise.

We encourage participation in professional and community activities and are committed to supporting your pursuit of the CPA and other professional credentials.

Why You'll Thrive Here

  • Join a collaborative, people-focused culture that values curiosity, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Travel Expectations: This role requires minimal travel, less than 10% per year. Travel to client sites can range up to 50%.

You Will

  • Participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Develop an understanding of client operations, financial reporting processes, and industry-specific risks.
  • Assist in preparing workpapers, audit documentation, and financial statements.
  • Analyze financial information, identify inconsistencies, and ask thoughtful questions to deepen your understanding.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to gather information and support engagement objectives.
  • Build strong communication skills through regular interactions with colleagues, managers, and clients.
  • Develop proficiency in accounting, audit, and technology tools used throughout the firm.
  • Apply feedback from supervisors and mentors to continuously improve your technical and professional skills.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Progress toward CPA certification and other professional development goals.

You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or expected completion prior to start date. Master's degree is a plus but not required.
  • Internship, co-op, campus leadership, customer service, or other professional experience is helpful but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand how businesses operate.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
