Role Description The Staff Business Development Associate (BDA) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The individual in this role will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with institutional and corporate partners, and support the growth of edtech programs. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, managing outreach campaigns, following up on leads via calls, emails, and meetings, and presenting program offerings to prospective clients and learners. The Staff BDA will collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with upcoming tech sessions and workshops, track performance metrics, and provide feedback to improve offerings and customer experience. This role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools and representing Tech Academy at events and conferences as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and client relationship building.
• Experience in education or edtech, with an understanding of technology training programs and IT professional development needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with strong negotiation and persuasion skills for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proficiency in basic data analysis, CRM tools, and MS Office or similar productivity applications to track and report performance.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; prior experience in BDA or inside sales roles is preferred.
• Comfort engaging with technical audiences and interest in current and emerging programming languages and technologies.
