EcoRides Town Car Service is a veteran-owned executive transportation company based in Bonney Lake, Washington. We provide premium airport transfers, corporate transportation, group travel, cruise transportation, weddings, special events, and regional transportation throughout the Seattle-Tacoma area.

We are looking for dependable people who take scheduled assignments seriously, communicate well, care for the vehicles they operate, and provide consistent professional service.

The Position

We are hiring two part-time executive chauffeurs to provide additional coverage for scheduled reservations, overlapping trips, peak-demand periods, weekends, and owner relief.

This position is best suited for someone who can provide consistent recurring availability, particularly during:

• Weekday Mornings and afternoons
• Weekends
• Early mornings
• Evenings
• Airport travel periods
• Holidays and other peak-demand dates

You do not need to be available 24/7. However, the availability you provide must be reliable.

Most assignments are scheduled in advance. Additional trips may occasionally be offered on short notice based on business needs and your stated availability.

Chauffeurs must also be comfortable working multiple trips back-to-back during busy periods. A work period may include several consecutive airport, local, or regional assignments with limited downtime between reservations.

This is not currently a full-time position. Additional hours may become available based on business volume, reliability, availability, and performance.

Typical Assignments

Assignments may include:

• SEA Airport arrivals and departures
• Local and regional point-to-point transportation
• Cruise terminal transportation
• Corporate and executive transportation
• Weddings and special events
• Concert and sporting-event transportation
• Group transportation
• Occasional long-distance assignments
• Multiple consecutive trips during peak-demand periods

Vehicles

Chauffeurs may operate multiple vehicle types depending on assignment requirements, including:

• Full-size executive SUVs
• Luxury passenger vans
• Mercedes-Benz Sprinter passenger vehicles

Applicants must be comfortable operating larger vehicles when properly trained.

Previous Sprinter, shuttle, commercial van, military vehicle, delivery vehicle, or similar large-vehicle experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely, professionally, and on time
• Review trip details before each assignment
• Arrive prepared and ready to begin service at the scheduled time
• Communicate promptly with dispatch and passengers when required
• Monitor flight and pickup information as instructed
• Assist passengers with luggage and vehicle entry
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, fueled or charged, and ready for service
• Complete basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
• Remove trash, passenger belongings, fingerprints, and other debris following service
• Immediately report vehicle concerns, delays, incidents, or itinerary changes
• Follow traffic laws and EcoRides operating procedures
• Provide discreet and professional service to executive, VIP, elderly, family, and leisure travelers
• Maintain readiness and professionalism across multiple consecutive assignments

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a valid Washington State driver's license
• Have a driving record acceptable to EcoRides and its commercial insurer
• Have at least three years of licensed driving experience
• Be able to pass required background screening
• Meet applicable drug-testing and transportation requirements
• Obtain required chauffeur credentials within 30 days
• Maintain a smartphone capable of running navigation, dispatch, messaging, and vehicle-related applications
• Be comfortable driving at night, in heavy traffic, and to/from SEA Airport
• Be comfortable operating in rain, fog, snow, reduced visibility, and other changing Pacific Northwest weather conditions
• Be comfortable safely continuing scheduled transportation during poor weather when road and operating conditions permit
• Be comfortable completing multiple trips back-to-back, including extended periods of driving during busy service windows
• Be able to safely lift and handle passenger luggage
• Maintain professional attire or better while on assignment, Suit and Tie
• Communicate clearly and respond promptly to scheduling and operational messages
• Demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliability

Professional driving experience is preferred but not required.

Relevant backgrounds may include:

• Chauffeur or limousine service
• Military transportation
• Law enforcement
• Shuttle transportation
• Delivery or commercial driving
• Rideshare or TNC driving( background dependant)
• Executive or hospitality transportation

Availability Expectations

Applicants must provide honest recurring weekly availability during the hiring process.

We understand that employees have other jobs, families, military obligations, school schedules, and personal commitments. We do not expect unlimited availability.

We do expect the availability you provide to be accurate.

Once a chauffeur accepts a scheduled assignment, that assignment is considered a professional commitment except in cases of legitimate emergency or illness.

Regular last-minute cancellations or repeated unavailability during previously committed availability periods are not compatible with this position.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $20.00 per hour during the probationary period
• Employees retain any tips provided directly by clients
• Paid required training and operational familiarization
• Access to EcoRides' late-model vehicle fleet
• Additional hours may be offered based on business demand
• Compensation reviews may be conducted based on reliability, performance, vehicle care, customer service, and expanded responsibilities

After six months of satisfactory employment, employees may also become eligible for one complimentary company round-trip transportation reservation for personal travel, subject to scheduling and vehicle availability.

Our strongest chauffeurs are dependable, prepared, responsive, calm under pressure, comfortable interacting with different types of passengers, and willing to take responsibility for the vehicle they are assigned.

They are also comfortable driving in changing weather, handling early mornings and late evenings, and completing multiple consecutive assignments without a drop in professionalism or vehicle care.

This is a good fit for someone who wants professional part-time transportation work and understands that scheduled client transportation is different from app-based gig driving.

Once a reservation is assigned and accepted, a customer is depending on you to show up.
