Staff Cloud Automation Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Cloud Automation Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will shape the automation foundations that enable secure, scalable cloud operations across a large enterprise environment. The selected candidate will design and operate platforms that streamline cloud provisioning, strengthen governance, and improve reliability for internal engineering teams. There will also be a strong focus on building modern software and automation capabilities that support both current infrastructure needs and emerging AI-enabled experiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,295 – $260,590 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and operate enterprise Infrastructure as Code platforms for cloud provisioning and management
• Develop cloud-native capabilities, including Terraform services and AI-powered experiences
• Engineer scalable software and automation frameworks using modern technologies
• Lead cloud automation strategy and mentor engineers on best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform security and reliability

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud engineering or related fields within large enterprises
• 6+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP solutions
• 5+ years designing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Kubernetes
• 5+ years developing software and automation frameworks using Go or TypeScript
• 3+ years leading initiatives in CI/CD, cloud governance, and observability
