Staff Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The staffing coordinator will organize and prepare work schedules for field staff to ensure the appropriate amount of staff is available for each work shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

• One (1) years experience in positions of increasing responsibility in business, preferably in health care.
• Minimum of one (1) years experience in supervisory or administrative positions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the regulatory requirements at the state, federal and local level.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• The staffing coordinator will organize and prepare work schedules for field staff.
• Ensure that an appropriate amount of staff is available for each work shift.
• Approving and scheduling time off for the field staff and ensuring vacant positions are filled to meet client requirements.
• The Staffing coordinator creates and maintains daily staffing reports using systems or programs (Continulink, ISAS, & Google Doc Spreadsheets), including scheduling employees' work hours, time off request, as well as job vacancies.
• Report inconsistencies, job vacancies and scheduling concerns to management for immediate action.
• Reporting responsibilities also include verifying employee work hours with the payroll department on a routine basis to ensure payroll is disbursed accurately.
