Staff Data Platform Software Engineer - Persistence

Adobe is seeking an experienced Staff Data Platform Software Engineer to design and maintain reliable data persistence systems. This role focuses on scalable data infrastructure, storage architecture, and backend services that support high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data storage and persistence services
• Build reliable backend systems for data-intensive applications
• Improve data availability, performance, and system reliability
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture and technical design
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance
• Review code and promote engineering best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in software and backend engineering
• Strong knowledge of databases, distributed systems, and data infrastructure
• Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Experience with cloud platforms and large-scale production systems
• Strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills

Pay: $160,000.00 - $215,000.00 per year
