Staff Engineer BackEnd & SaaS integration (Martech)

Context

Within the digital division, the team designs and evolves strategic software architectures to support the group's global growth. Composed of passionate experts (Tech Leads, Software Engineers, Architects), the team aims to modernize the information system, streamline back-office operations, and integrate high-performing, secure SaaS solutions. This role will directly impact the operational robustness of tools and the value delivered to millions of sports lovers and teammates worldwide.

Missions

• Define, design, and ensure the technical architecture of back-office solutions and complex SaaS integrations at scale.

• Guide and upskill engineering teams on software engineering best practices, code quality, and security standards.

• Drive the seamless integration of strategic SaaS solutions into the IT ecosystem, ensuring interoperability, scalability, and high availability.

• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Software Engineers to translate business challenges into ambitious technical roadmaps.

Working Conditions

• Location: Lille (Hybrid)

• Daily rate: 690€

1. 8+ years of experience in back-office software engineering and distributed architecture design
2. Proven expertise in integrating large third-party SaaS solutions (REST/GraphQL APIs, Webhooks, Message Brokers)
3. Mastery of AI Augmented SDLC (copilot, bmad, mcp servers)
4. Mastery of data governance concepts, IT security, and scalable systems
5. Demonstrated ability to drive a cross-cutting technical vision and positively influence multidisciplinary teams
6. Excellent communication skills in both French and English (international environment)
7. Knowledge and experience in Martech context is a strong advantage
8. Expertise in microservices architecture, API, Kafka, Java, and back-end web development
9. Confirmed skills in Cloud OPS (AWS / GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Terraform)
