Staff Engineer

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building facilities, electrical systems, mechanical systems, plumbing, and air conditioning (HVAC).
• Monitor the condition and functionality of engineering equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to building facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and installation work.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety standards, operational procedures, and company regulations.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
• Monitor the availability of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Respond promptly to facility breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Support facility improvement projects and other operational requirements as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in building maintenance, facility management, or engineering operations is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and building utilities.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair procedures.
• Able to operate basic maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive working attitude.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Understanding of occupational health and safety (K3) standards is an advantage.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule and respond to operational emergencies when required.
• Willing to be placed at KYZN branches according to company needs.
