Staff Engineer (Container Security)

• You will build a new, unprecedented way to orchestrate Zero Trust Segmentation down to the application / pod level, identifying easily blocking pathways of attacks in the container ecosystem
• You will understand and enhance modern container platforms such as Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, GKE etc
• You will have the opportunity to own and design critical features and subsystems, work out all the details, and defend the design before your peers
• You will deliver a rock-solid implementation that is elegant, simple, scalable, stable, secure, and supportable. Our product protects the critical infrastructure of large enterprises. It must work
• You will also mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns to help them grow as engineers and become productive members of the team
• You will have the opportunity to work with the field organization and key customers to shape this novel product

• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging skills
• Proficient in at least one higher-level language such as Go, Python , Java, etc
• Unix/Linux programming environment experience
• General TCP/IP networking knowledge
• Experience with networking and security controls is a plus
• Experience building large, distributed, and scalable software systems
• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent degree. Master’s degree a plus
• Familiarity with, and passion for Kubernetes and related technologies
