Prepare design calculations for pressure, thermal expansion and wall thickness, and run thermal and structural FEA on high-temperature nickel-alloy components
Develop 3D models, fabrication drawings, GA drawings and BOMs, and check them against ASME B31.3 / Section VIII or equivalent requirements
Design practical solutions for thermal expansion of hot tubes and connections, such as expansion loops, bellows and sliding supports
Review drawings and calculations prepared by associate engineers, and help them grow their design skills
Present designs at design reviews and incorporate review comments before release
Prepare fabrication, welding, inspection and pressure/leak test requirements for your designs; coordinate with vendors and support inspections and tests
