Staff Enterprise Security Engineer, AI Security

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Enterprise Security Engineer, AI Security to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will shape secure AI platform architecture and strengthen enterprise security practices across a modern technology organization. The successful candidate will partner with technical leaders to define frameworks for AI vetting, identity controls, and security posture management. This position also plays a key role in advancing secure coding practices, infrastructure safeguards, and broader organizational readiness for AI adoption.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $155,520 – $228,700 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure AI platform architectures
• Establish frameworks for AI vetting and help drive organizational culture shifts around security
• Collaborate on long-term strategies for AI identity and posture management
• Improve enterprise security posture through secure coding practices and infrastructure management
• Mentor junior engineers and advise leadership on AI security trends

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security engineering or infrastructure security
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or staff engineering role at an enterprise
• Expertise in cloud security (AWS, GCP) and container security (Kubernetes)
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale security systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java
