Staff Full-stack Engineer - Shopping (Remote-eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Full-stack Engineer - Shopping (Remote-eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will shape technical direction for a high-scale digital platform, turning complex business needs into practical engineering solutions that improve performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability. The engineer will partner closely with architecture and engineering teams to modernize core systems, define standards, and guide implementation across the stack. This is an opportunity to influence platform strategy, API consistency, and system scalability while mentoring other engineers and raising overall technical quality.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $244,700 – $279,200 annually

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture
• Experience with enterprise architecture and design patterns
• Proficiency in cloud computing, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong background in data architecture
