Job Overview

Responsible for the development of DRAM module and DRAM related application designs for leading-

edge, high-performance server and embedded system applications. Drive hardware product life cycle

development including architecture, detailed design, bring up, debug, Hardware Qualification, Release to

Manufacturing, sustaining support and field failure support. The job requires imaginative problem solving

and ability to work independently and on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Familiarity with all phases of hardware product development which includes but not limited to:

• Own the end-to-end design of memory module — from architecture definition and component selection through schematic capture, PCB layout, SI/PI simulation, and design release.

• Lead board bring-up and debug activities for new hardware, including power delivery and signal integrity using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other lab instrumentation.

• Define and execute electrical validation and characterization process – including thermal and functional testing to ensure the new hardware meet the product requirement and with sufficient margin.

• Investigate BIOS/Testing logs to troubleshoot issues in partnership with test team.

• Identify areas of innovation in memory design and experience with invention disclosure and patent process.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor / Master degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in high-speed PCB design. Knowledge of DRAM memory is highly desirable.

• Working knowledge of high-speed SI and PI theory and simulation.

• Strong knowledge of Cadence OrCAD and Allegro is necessary.

• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analyzers.

• Strong background in developing and debugging PCBAs on target. Experience reworking PCBAs.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to details, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Willing to go out of your comfort zone and take multi tasks beyond your routine work within your function.

• Strong communicator — able to lead technical reviews, document design decisions clearly, and work effectively across engineering and operations

Additional Preferences

• AI & Automation Fluency: Strong proficiency in applying modern generative AI tools and Agentic frameworks to real-world engineering problems is a plus.
• Ability to write quality of Python script is a plus
• Good English communication skill. TOEIC 600+ is preferred
