About the role

As an EXIM (Import/Export) Staff member, you will coordinate the movement of goods across borders, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process all shipping documents required, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bill of Lading (BL) or Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin (COO), and Import Goods Notification (PIB)
• Coordinate the movement of goods across borders and ensure compliance with local, national, and international trade regulations, including customs procedures
• Coordinate with various parties including suppliers, shipping lines, forwarders, and Customs
• Monitor shipping schedules, conduct cargo bookings (vessel/aircraft), and track shipment status to avoid delays
• Prepare and process export documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Shipping Instruction, PEB & PIB, and Letter of Credit documents if required
• Create routine reports related to import volume and manage document filing systematically

About you

• Minimum S1 education (all majors)
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Export/Import field
• Understanding of Export-Import fundamentals
• Proficient in operating Ms. Office
• Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
• Understanding of Incoterms (FOB, CIF, CFR, EXW, etc.)
• Ability to source new vendors according to specified requirements
• Strong price negotiation skills
• Strong ability to coordinate with customs regarding shipment processing
• Honest, thorough, responsible, and able to maximize work time
