Staff Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients according to hospital protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs, patient condition, intake/output, and other observations.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Assist doctors during procedures, examinations, and emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, and medication charts.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and nursing standards.
• Prepare patients for surgery, investigations, and procedures where required.
• Provide post-operative and general patient care.
• Educate patients and attendants regarding medicines, treatment, hygiene, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing supervisors, technicians, and other hospital departments.
• Handle emergency situations and participate in Code Blue/CPR procedures when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of nursing equipment.
• Follow hospital policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualification:

• B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery).
• Valid nursing registration with the applicable State Nursing Council.

Required Skills:

• Good clinical and patient-care skills.
• Medication administration IV cannulation and injections.
• Basic life support/CPR Infection-control practices.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including night shift.

Pay: ₹20,086.00 - ₹35,874.78 per month
