About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our nursing team at Medi-Klinik Lim in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a general medical and surgical setting. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective and dignified care whilst working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team. This position is crucial to maintaining the high standards of clinical practice and patient satisfaction that define our clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care including assessment, monitoring and administration of intraveneous (IV) therapies in accordance with medical orders and nursing protocols
• Performing routine nursing procedures such as wound dressing, catheterisation, venipuncture and other clinical interventions as required
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies
• Communicating effectively with patients, families and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care coordination
• Assisting doctors during medical procedures and surgical interventions in the operating theatre or clinical settings
• Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to medical staff promptly
• Ensuring infection control measures and maintaining a clean and safe patient environment
• Providing patient education and health promotion information to support patient wellbeing
• Collaborating with team members to identify and implement improvements to clinical practices and patient care
• Responding promptly to patient requests and ensuring patient comfort and dignity at all times

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse qualification or equivalent nursing qualification recognised by the relevant Malaysian nursing regulatory body

• Current and valid nursing registration and practising licence

• Solid understanding of nursing principles, patient care protocols and clinical best practices

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity and patient confidentiality

• Certification in Basic Life Support or First Aid is desirable
