Staff Nurse

Qualification:

• 10+2 with Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery or BSc, Post BSc, MSc
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Knowledge of the principles of Basic Nursing and technical Nursing
• Knowledge of human anatomy

Skills:

Interpersonal, Listening, Manual Dexterity, Communication, Coordination and Cooperation, Initiatives, Procedural Systems, Patient Safety, Drug Administration, Moral Support and Physical Approach to patients, Computer Literate.

• Awareness of the departmental vision, mission, objectives and its implementation.
• Performs the duties as per the role and expectation of a nurse in providing comprehensive patient care.
• Knowledge about the layout of the unit, number of patients and types of patients and their requirements.
• Interaction, co-operation and team spirit with other staff members.
• Performs assigned duties as per the department s protocol.
• Maintains all registers used in the unit.
• Accurate knowledge of the forms and formats.
• Performs all special assignments as rostered.
