• Hospital policies and protocols.

Skills

• Patient assessment.
• Knowledge on common drugs.
• Knowledge about handling pre and post angio and PTCA patient.

• Assess the needs of the patients and plan of nursing care, administration of drugs and treatment, observation and recording of vital parameters.
• Attending rounds with medical personnel and assist in examination of patients and treatment.
• Follow hospital policies and maintain the core values.
• Proper bedside handing over to be ensured in each shift and follow the same.
• Maintaining registers like CCU & Ward admission Register , MI Register , Inventory etc.
• Sending the discharge patient with all reports and Explain discharge summary and about followup.
• Maintain cleanliness of CCU, its annexes and environments.
• Daily check of emergency drugs and life saving equipment.
• Attend unit meeting conducted by Managers & hospital.
